Otter and Butterfly Sanctuary ~ Buckfastleigh

Today we went to the Otters and Butterflies in Buckfastleigh, with *our* National History group.

Ants carrying leaves...

Having fun with the wind chimes in the shop

One of the few butterflies we've seen....We were a little bit *early*..

Tortoises...

Special picture for my father in law :)) (steam train!)

We've all enjoyed it! Although I must say that I still (and more and more) think our Zoo in Holland (Blijdorp) wasn't that bad after all ;)))

After surviving a car accident, we had a nice afternoon with the friends that came to our house....

And still enjoying my chickens ("pikkies" as Levi calls them)....They are good company. Didn't know they could be that "gezellig" (something like "close", "intimate", "cozy", "homy")...
:)

Gezellig weekend!

@ Angelique, Julia, Judith: my friends car had an accident. No one in the car (including two of my kids) was hurt. Just the crazy driving young lad was. I think it was 'just' his feet.
