Maybe you're getting fed up with my stories about the homeschool-meets that we have. But hey, it's a big part of our lives and since I'm also using this blog as a kind of diary, this is how it is...
Today we had the second (for me the first, due to being ill last week) meeting of 'our' new, 'social' homeschooling group at our house. The purpose of this particular group is to spend time together, not so much for the 'educational' part (there are a lot of this kind of groups in the area), but to meet at each other's houses, or in the park/on the beach with nice weather, so both the parents and the children have time to chat/play and get to know each other a lot better. We had 14 kids from 2-14 years old and it's so nice to see how they all mix so nicely and get along so well.
And we had fun today! A lot of familiair faces, seven families and even a father who was brave enough to come and join all the mothers :).
I'm feeling so blessed. It's really amazing how many lovely, friendly and nice people we've met in the last two months!
And an other article on socialization that I found, looking for a nice picture (as I didn't really take pictures myself today...). It's a bit of an 'oldie', the picture, I know, but some parts are really nice :) (I like the sleeping in on a rainy day!! ;)))
